Part time cook
2-3 days 16-24 hours per week depending on experience. Weekend work is an essential part of this job.
Bayberry Hollow is looking for a cook to join our fantastic team! This is a very exciting time for us, we are currently undergoing extensive building work to create a brand new kitchen area. This is now a perfect time for someone to join our team and be part of something very special. Our team are hardworking and all work together to achieve the best possible standards of food and also to excite our customers with new dishes. Our current bistro menu offers a breakfasts, lunch and Afternoon Tea.
This role will see the ideal candidate:
Preparing food for customers in our bistro
Assisting the kitchen team in day to day kitchen service preparing food for upcoming menus and special dishes
Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards
Preparing meals to the highest of standards and quality
Essential skills we are looking for:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment as a cook/chef
Ability to work a busy breakfast and lunch service
Able to work under pressure to deliver fantastic results
Able to learn and adapt to new ways of working and strive to improve
Food safety level 2 as a minimum
Flexibility to work additional hours when needed

Part time Kitchen Porter
5 days per week, typically Monday-Friday. 16-20 hours per week, between 11:00-15:00. Weekend work may be needed at times.

Maintain a safe working environment
Ensure that dishes and equipment is cleaned and readily available
Assist with basic food preparation
Receive and check deliveries
Essential skills we are looking for:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment
Ability to work under pressure with haste
Able to adapt to a constantly changing working environment
Food safety level 1 as a minimum
Flexibility to work additional hours when needed
